I was contacted through a Facebook group in early January 2026 by someone claiming to be a crypto trading mentor. They persuaded me to open an account with CryptoPrimeFX and initially helped me see small gains. Over the next three weeks, I transferred approximately $75,000 in USDT to their platform. When I tried to withdraw my supposed profits in late January, they demanded an additional $12,000 in “tax fees” and then stopped responding entirely. The platform now shows my account as locked.
